Hurricane AC Prep
Protect your investment before the storm hits โ and get back to comfort faster once it passes. Our Hurricane-Ready AC Inspection covers everything.
Why Hurricane AC Prep Matters
Your AC system is one of the most expensive appliances in your home โ and one of the most vulnerable during a storm. A little preparation before the season can save you thousands after it.
Surge & Power Damage
Power surges during and after storms are the #1 cause of AC compressor and control board failures. We check your system's surge protection and electrical components.
Debris & Condenser Damage
Flying debris can damage condenser coils and fan blades. We inspect and document the condition of your outdoor unit before the storm season.
Flood & Moisture Intrusion
Storm surge and heavy rain can damage electrical components and introduce moisture into your air handler. We check drain lines, pan levels, and flood risk.
Improper Restart Damage
Starting your AC too soon after a storm โ before power stabilizes โ can destroy a compressor. We walk you through the safe restart process.
Post-Storm Air Quality Risk
After a storm, humidity spikes fast. A compromised AC system can't keep up, leading to rapid biological growth. We verify your system can handle the load.
Insurance Documentation
A pre-storm inspection report documents your system's condition. This can be critical for insurance claims if your unit is damaged during the storm.
