Written System Health Report
Every Infinity service call ends with a written report โ real measurements, real findings, and honest recommendations. No guesswork. No surprises.
What Is a System Health Report?
A System Health Report is a written document we leave with you after every service call. It captures the actual measurements we took, the condition of each major component, and our honest assessment of how your system is performing.
Most HVAC companies give you a verbal summary โ "looks good" or "you might need a new capacitor soon." We put it in writing. You get the numbers, the findings, and our recommendations in plain English so you can make informed decisions about your home.
๐ Measured, not guessed. Every number on your report comes from an instrument โ a manometer, thermometer, multimeter, or gauge โ not a technician's opinion.
What's Measured & Documented
Here's what we record on every System Health Report:
Static Pressure
We measure airflow resistance in your duct system with a digital manometer. High static pressure means your system is working harder than it should โ and it shows up on your report with the actual reading in inches of water column (IWC).
Temperature Split
We record the temperature of the air entering and leaving your system. The difference โ your temperature split โ tells us how effectively your system is removing heat from your home. A healthy split is 15โ22ยฐF.
Refrigerant Charge
Using superheat and subcooling calculations, we verify your refrigerant charge is correct. We record the actual gauge readings and calculated values โ not just 'looks okay.'
Electrical Component Readings
Capacitor microfarad readings, contactor voltage drop, coil resistance โ all measured with meters and recorded. We flag any component that's weakening before it fails completely.
Indoor Humidity Level
We measure the relative humidity inside your home. In Florida, anything above 60% is a problem โ for your comfort, your health, and your home's structure. Your report shows the actual reading.
Coil & Drain Condition
We document the condition of your evaporator coil, condenser coil, and condensate drain. Dirty coils and clogged drains are among the most common causes of poor performance and water damage.
Filter Condition
We note the filter type, condition, and when it was last changed. A clogged filter is the single easiest thing to fix โ and one of the most common causes of high static pressure and poor airflow.
Overall System Assessment
We rate the overall health of your system and provide written recommendations โ Good, Better, and Best options for anything that needs attention. No pressure. Just honest information so you can decide.
Why a Written Report Matters
You're in control
When you have the actual numbers, you can make informed decisions โ not just take a technician's word for it. You know what's wrong, how serious it is, and what your options are.
Track your system over time
Your report from this year becomes a baseline for next year. If your static pressure was 0.4 IWC last spring and it's 0.6 IWC this spring, something has changed โ and we can find it before it becomes a breakdown.
Protect your home's value
A documented service history with written reports is valuable when selling your home. Buyers and inspectors appreciate proof that the HVAC system has been properly maintained.
Insurance and warranty documentation
If you ever need to file an insurance claim or a warranty claim, a written record of your system's condition and service history can be critical evidence.
No more 'trust me' repairs
We've heard the stories โ a technician says you need a new compressor, but there's no documentation of what was actually measured. Our reports eliminate that problem entirely.
